I haven't been keeping up on writing because I've been feeling like it's more of the same. Just little things here and there and things that I might never know the outcome of. I will be better, though, even if it is more of the same.
I have a talk to give in sacrament meeting in a couple weeks about service, and the thought occurred to me that most, if not all, of these promptings are service oriented. Even the ones about smiling, doing the dishes, putting down the phone, etc. all help us in some way, serve someone else, and by serving, we are helping ourselves. What a testament that is to service! How important is it, that our Constant Companion constantly tells us to serve! And through that service, how much peace, love and joy it is bringing to our homes. It is turning our hearts to others, freeing up our minds to act and be better than we are.
